"A Witness" by Jordan Elizabeth Henry
A staged reading of a new play about coping with your best friends through love, death, grief, alcohol, undiagnosed autistic burnout, and whatever else life throws at you.
A Witness is part of a series of occasional readings centering the creative development of women, non-binary and trans playwrights through workshop rehearsals and performances of new plays.
Join us for concert-style performance of new scripts by playwrights from Seattle and around the country, featuring unique stories from underheard artists. Post-show discussions will follow each performance and you are invited to join in a structured feedback process meant to provide usable ideas and responses for each playwright.
In-person or Zoom options available. All tickets are Pick-Your-Own-Price with free Community Access tickets available for every performance.

A Lonely Realization by Darby Sherwood and Emily Stone - A Workshop
Written in the aftermath of a very recent sexual assault, A Lonely Realization features two women actively detangling and processing the ways it affects survivors and their communities. Complete audition details are available here: Auditions - All New Cells
The Shattered Glass Project is holding auditions for the role of NILS in the upcoming production of ALL NEW CELLS, written by Aliza Goldstein and directed by Alison Kozar.
Auditions will be conducted in a hybrid model - you will be able to choose an in-person audition OR a video audition submission. If needed, callbacks will be conducted in person.
CASTING NOTES AND INFORMATION:
Actors with identities that have been historically underrepresented are particularly encouraged to audition.
Available Role(s)
NILS - Male. Any race. Very early 20s. Nervy and confrontational (to hide that he's mostly just nervous). Doing the work, focusing on his writing, finding what still makes his heart do the sparkle emoji (and then there's this bullshit). Passes inconsistently, wardrobe is 70% fandom merch by volume (the rest is clothes his mom bought him). Nils is a transgender man.

"Want" by Barbara Lindsay
When love is like a flame, what could possibly put it out?
About this event
The Shattered Glass Project is proud to present the world premiere of a stirring play about the impact that poverty and jealousy can have on love.
Written by Barbara Lindsay | Directed by Maureen Hawkins.
Middle-aged couple Ruby and Early are happy in their new marriage (for starters, the sex is amazing!) Sure, they’re struggling with unemployment and numbingly dull manual labor, but they have each other and they’ve just moved into a new apartment. Then the next-door neighbor pays them a call…
Audience notes and content warning:
Seating is general admission, and you may have fellow audience members seated close to you.
This show is recommended for ages 16 & up and includes adult language and explicit sexual imagery as well as depictions of violence and use of a knife.
